Do not let them see you cry
My mother told me, that is why I die of worry
Leaving when my eyes are drying
I am a fool with legs, bright as the surface of rocks.
The teacher takes this light from my empty hands,
Children whisper.

Behind a starfish's arms
Play in the warm and sunny garden,
Yet I stay here, like my mother said.
Under the window is an aquarium,
Goldfish swim round and round,
Imitating their own reflextions, they swim around.

I put a finger in the water, then another
They reflect while they shimer and tremble.
My eyes dry.
I submerge my body in the water
My eyelashes drip into my eyes,
I breathe, I breathe, I breathe.

Gracias.... se me iso un poco dificil en algunas partes porque no entendi lo que querias decir... pero creo que hice un buen trabajo, verdad?

You're welcome can't wait for the next poem.... hey maybe you can use one of mine... for example Waltz of Maybe is a good one... or maybe Pain
those two are my favorites... it'd be kinda fun to see how they change by being translated into diferent languages.

Claro que si!!! De hecho me disculpo si algunas ideas no estaban claras, pero me costó muchísimo con la traducción que recibí porque estaba bastante emredado de traducir. Ahora sólo nos queda que *salshep publique el poema original para ver qué tanto cambió en el transcurso de las traducciones.

creo que ya lo hizo... ven aca cual traduccion fue esa que te causo tanto problema?? Y no te preocupes sobre eso.... ya yo sabia cual era el poema original y lo habia leido antes. Por eso no se me hizo tan dificil traducir tu version, de hecho lo que me dio problemas fue tu forma de usar el espan~ol.... de donde eres Maly?

haha no yo creo que yo soy la que hablo el espan~ol como cavernicola...
en Puerto Rico no se habla el espan~ol correctamente. Yo lo hablo spanglish... en otras palabras empiezo en espan~ol y termino en ingles, muchas veces.
