My Snow Man Melted -contest-

Twas the night before...
that's how it starts,
Christmas everywhere near and far
But wait, hold on, WHERE'S THE SNOW!
Oh dear, now, see Christmas isn't how
it should be. Snow and ice,
Christmas nice. Not here, not there, nope
You're in the tropics, there isn't snow ANYWHERE!

Twas the night before Christmas,
and all through the towns, too many creatures
were stirring, yes even that mouse!
And why?, you ask, It's Christmas in the tropics.
Quite simple you see... we're stringing the house lights,
left and right, and right and left. A spectacle, a delight,
a headache, COME SEE!

Ah yes, we have "snow-men" and maybe some "rain deer",
but they're all made of metal, and paper maché.
We even have snow, it comes in a can!  
And Oh Gosh! how funny, two Santa's on one roof!
One on his sleigh, riding away,
The other saying " Ho! Ho! Ho! Hello! Come this way!"

Ah, Christmas in Puerto Rico,
Three kings and the Virgin, betwixt the sleigh.
While Santa Mickey and Pluto wave from below.
Fake snow adorns the glass windows, and tinsel snowflakes "float"
on a stiff breeze. Yes, our Christmas is weird,
But come now, can't you see, We like it this way, and that's how it'll be.
'Cause, come October next year, you'll find,
We'll be stringing our houselights , and Santas with cheer,
Its Christmas in Puerto Rico, Never Fear!
